Biography

Laurent Verron (Le Mans, France, 1965) is a French cartoonist. In 1996, with writer Yann, he created Les Innommables and above all Odilon Verjus, the burlesque chronicle of a Belgian missionary chasing Josephine Baker and other figures of the Roaring Twenties. In 2003 he took over the drawing of Boule et Bill after Roba's death. His Brussels mural on rue des Capucins, painted in 2004, brings together the missionary, a dancer and a leopard bounding down the façade.
