Koz Dos

Koz Dos is a Venezuelan artist trained at UNEARTE, the arts university in Caracas, where he first made his name with strikingly photorealistic portraits. His painting layers geometric abstraction, classical realism and dreamlike distortion in soft colour ranges. His murals often pair human and animal figures, staging both the confrontation and the coexistence of the individual and the animal. His work can be seen in Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Quito and Tel Aviv.
