Edel Truda

Born in France in 1980, Edel Truda is a visual artist trained at the Ecole superieure des beaux-arts in Nimes. She works mainly through drawing, animation and installation, bringing a poetic, contemplative view to life, equality, identity and humanity's relationship with its environment. Shifts of scale, cutting, collage, layering and decomposition invite the viewer to redefine what is visible. Since 2010 environmental questions have been central to her work, fed by several land art residencies. She lives and works in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
