Biography
Anna Charney is an American painter and muralist based in Denver, who earned her BFA in painting and drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016. She picked up a spray can in 2017 and has been turning blank walls into visual vortexes ever since. Her flowing, spiralling compositions use saturated colour and layered geometric or dot patterns to build illusory depth on flat surfaces. She collaborates regularly with muralist Kendall Rose Kippley.
