MS Ketam

Mário Santos, known in the graffiti scene as Ketam, has been painting since the mid-1990s. Born in Lisbon, he works mainly on the south bank of the Tagus, between Almada and Seixal. His painting is resolutely figurative: portraits, animals and hyperrealistic scenes rendered in saturated colours, often with an airbrush. A regular of the local scene, he has taken part in Almada Graffiti, Seixal Graffiti and the Sol da Caparica and Primavera Surffest festivals, and exhibited at Almada's Oficina de Cultura (MURALMA16, Cavalheiros Almadenses, IN.FAME). He also runs graffiti, illustration and airbrush workshops.
