Grems

Grems, whose real name is Michaël Eveno, is a French artist born in Paris in 1978. A 2004 graduate of the Bordeaux fine arts school, he works in parallel as a rapper, a graphic designer and a painter, with hip-hop culture as the common thread. His visual language is instantly recognisable: vertical drips, bold flat colours and abstract shapes, carried from canvas to wall and from paper to entire building facades. He has produced work for brands such as Swatch, Nike, Philips, Asics and the RATP, and has exhibited from Paris and London to Beijing, Seville and Mexico City.
