Bruno Loz Santos

Bruno Loz Santos is a Portuguese artist based in Lisbon who signs his walls BRVNOLOZ. He works mainly with spray for large formats and with a brush on canvas, and describes his practice as an exploration of figurativism and expressionism through the motif of the scarf. His mural pieces accordingly play on knotted ribbons and bandanas painted in trompe-l'oeil: floating volumes with contrasting undersides, worked in gradients of blue and grey that lift off the surface like fabric sculptures. He also paints on canvas and takes on customisation work.
