Oscar Sotillo

Oscar Sotillo is a Venezuelan painter who signs his walls "Oscar Sotillo Arte" alongside the name of his country. His work moves between canvas and wall and is recognisable by animals rendered in fragmented touches, somewhere between stain and texture, that let the surface breathe. In Brussels he painted an Andean bear and a blue and yellow macaw on the biodiversity mural on Chaussée de Wavre, alongside other invited Latin American artists.
