RAL 9000

RAL 9000 is the tag name of Pascal Wiese, a German street artist based in Düsseldorf. He works mainly in shades of grey and black, applying a photorealistic finish to monumental figures: dolls, characters and animal skulls painted at the scale of an entire facade. His mural "Living Dolls", on a house on Hamerstraße in Goch, unfolds a series of giant dolls commissioned by collectors and extends into fine tendrils across the neighbouring render. His signature turns up on the free walls of Düsseldorf, where he also paints alongside other writers, pairing his figures with lettering.
