Pablito Zago

Pablito Zago is a self-taught artist from Avignon who works as a street artist, illustrator, graphic designer and musician. He developed a technique for drawing portraits in a single continuous line, and draws his vocabulary from childhood imagery, underground comics and traditional African and Asian art, producing poetic walls often likened to a Douanier Rousseau on acid. He paints murals across France and abroad (United States, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Morocco, Belgium, Norway, Senegal). He splits his time between his graphic studio L'Artistik Kommando, his personal projects and the web series Wall Trip, which follows three friends in a van meeting urban artists.
