Biography
Camilo is a muralist working between Lisbon and the south bank of the Tagus, alternating between two registers. In Alfama he draws in a single continuous black line, with no fills or colour, scenes of fado and café terraces: guitarists, fado singers and pedestal tables set on lime-washed gables, where the bare wall stands in for volume and shadow. Elsewhere he sprays tightly rendered realistic portraits, sometimes charged with vivid colour and comic-book lettering. He signs with a recognisable cursive Camilo and belongs to the MIL Crew. The pieces recorded in Lisbon are dated 2025, the Almada one 2024.
