Edis One

Edis One is a Portuguese urban artist based in Lisbon. His work revolves around memory, nature and the fragile relationship between human societies and their environment, rendered in flat blocks of colour and in tiny handwriting that forms the very texture of his subjects. He works at large scale on entire facades, as with the Harmonia mural in Cascais bay, where two clasped hands emerge from a stylised ocean. Recent projects such as Broken Cities and the Extinction Art Project extend that ecological reflection beyond the wall, into exhibitions and talks.
