Xander Coy

Xander Coy, who also signs under the pseudonym Zandism, is an artist born in Camden, London. He paints in acrylic and oil, and also works with ink and spray paint. Influenced by Pop Art, collage and Surrealism, his work combines the mastery of classical painting with the anarchic spirit of street art, pairing hyper-realistic portraits with surreal settings. The portrait of a woman painted for his Dream On exhibition at the Camden Open Air Gallery embodies this approach.
